Abby will graduate in May 2013 from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in English Literature. Her first two years were spent in pursuit of English Education, until a mid-college crisis happened, which made her realize she didn't want to teach for the rest of her life.
As a child, Abby read the dictionary for fun and made lists of “cool” words. Her first book ever written, entitled The Moose in the Yard, was illustrated, written, and bound by only the best staples and Scotch tape around when she was six years old. Since then, writing and storytelling has become a passion of Abby’s. Her long-term dreams are to one day write and publish a fictional novel or children’s book.
Writing aside, Abby loves to cook and create her own recipes in her spare time, and enjoys being an amateur coffee shop and restaurant connoisseur in the Twin Cities area. Her two favorite books are Les Miserables and the Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo. She likes her coffee black, her chocolate dark, and her peanut butter crunchy.
